The Mariqe Standard
Every Mariqe stone is grown, not found. Pure silicon carbide crystals are formed under precisely controlled conditions, then cut and faceted to maximise the fire and brilliance the stone is celebrated for. Because each crystal is created deliberately, we answer for every step of its journey, from formation to finished piece.
We hold our stones to the colourless standard. Every Mariqe stone is graded D on the colour scale, the very top of the range and the same benchmark reserved for the rarest white diamonds, with no visible tint in any light. Clarity is graded VVS1, which means any inclusions are so minute they remain invisible even under close inspection. Each stone is cut to an Excellent grade, the highest standard of proportion and symmetry a gemstone can achieve, so that light returns as fire rather than escaping through the base.

Perfected by science
In 1893, French chemist Henri Moissan discovered something extraordinary in the crater of a fallen meteorite in Arizona: crystals so brilliant he believed he had found diamonds. He hadn't. He had found something rarer.
Natural moissanite is so scarce on Earth that for over a century it existed mostly in fragments and laboratories. Today, it is grown with precision, crystal by crystal, in controlled conditions that produce gems of remarkable clarity and consistency.
More fire than a diamond
Fire is what jewellers call the flashes of rainbow colour a gemstone throws when it moves through light. It is the moment a ring catches the sun across a dinner table and everyone notices.
Moissanite produces more than twice the fire of a diamond. It bends light more aggressively and splits it into colour more dramatically. The result is a stone that does not simply sparkle. It performs.
